Chlorine

Chlorine is widely used as a sanitizer in pool water. It is also an algaecide, bactericide, and an oxidizer all in one. Chlorine kills algae, bacteria and other disease causing organisms. It removes organic debris and swimmer waste through oxidation.

When buying Chlorine be sure and check the ingredients closely. Regal Chlorine is 99%
trichlor-s-triazinetrione. Other brands may contain a much less concentrate therefore costing you more and will be less effective in your pool water. This rule also applies with algaecides, clarifiers, and balancers.

Don’t be fooled by lower priced, less effective chemicals.
